The Amy Fund:

This campaign is to raise funds needed to address the day-to-day expenses incurred by the rescue. Most people do not realize the costs involved in running a rescue. All nonprofit organizations need financial resources to help achieve their goals. SCPR has two basic means of financial support: individual donations and fundraising efforts. Our cost to rescue and place a dog starts at $ 350.00 and goes up depending on any special needs such as surgery or behavioral problems that need to be addressed with a dog behaviorist.

Here is a list of the basic costs per dog put into rescue:

Transporting:$20.00-$50.00
Initial Vet Exam: $15.00
Initial 2 Week Quarantine Board: $5.00-$16.00 dollars per day
Spay: $100.00
Neuter: $75.00
Blood Panel : $60.00
Dental: $99.00
Micro Chip: $15.00
Rabies: $10.00
Vaccine: $25.00
Worm: $25.00
